GoElectronics Advanced Wiring Systems using "UStec structured wiring" follow the common high-voltage electrical wiring model, whereby services are distributed throughout the home from a central point. In the case of GoElectronics' low-voltage structured wiring designs, that central point is a server that functions very much in the same way as circuit breaker boxes are the starting point for house-wide electrical conduit.

GoElectronics' UStec server is the incoming station for electronic services such as telephone, cable TV, satellite, etc. The UStec server is also the managing system for all low or no-voltage wiring, and may even include such operations as lawn sprinklers, doorbells and other automatic control systems.

In new home construction, the concept of having one central point for all incoming services eliminates a hodge-podge of non-communicating, ugly junction boxes, each service in turn "doing their thing" irrespective of any other service connections. The central server, however, can also contain programs ("intelligence") and be connected to modems, video drivers, modulators or amplifiers, audio distribution, multi-media routers and data communications bridges and hubs for digital computer networking.

Installation of low-voltage wiring is very different from regular electrical wiring. It must be carefully located around your high-voltage wiring to be certain that there is no interference such as electrical "noise," video shadowing or other problems, even signal failures, which can occur if low voltage wiring is misplaced. Here, working with the house drawings, GoElectronics' engineers insure that complete and correct schematics are prepared for electrical work. Another area for extreme care is the length of the runs versus the size of the wire (copper gauge) to permit the stress of pulling through long distances across a structure.
