ImageIt's a beautiful home . . . but is it a smart home, keeping pace with today's needs and today's technology . . . plus, ready and waiting for future technologies? Time was, when wiring for phones and lamps was standard. Then, new high-efficiency appliances demanded heavy-duty wall sockets and personal computers begged for separate phone lines so as not to miss incoming calls. Today's information/communication explosion demands a whole new approach. With GoElectronics Advanced Wiring Systems, "Structured wiring" in this home could be ready and waiting for future interactive services! And for today's home, just by setting in the required wall outlets, any room in the house can be equipped for whatever function may be wanted today, tomorrow, next year - next millennium!

Just plug it in . . .

  • Digital Satellite TV
  • House-wide multi-line telephones
  • House-wide intercom system
  • House-wide cable TV access
  • House-wide stereo
  • House-wide remote controls
  • House-wide computer network
  • House-integrated wireless networks
  • House-wide Internet access
  • House-wide security monitoring
  • House-wide fax/modems
  • Internet Appliances
  • House-wide security surveillance cameras
  • House-wide Monitored security cameras

GoElectronics Advanced Wiring Systems using "UStec structured wiring" follow the common Imagehigh-voltage electrical wiring model, whereby services are distributed throughout the home from a central point. In the case of GoElectronics' low-voltage structured wiring designs, that central point is a server that functions very much in the same way as circuit breaker boxes are the starting point for house-wide electrical conduit.

GoElectronics' UStec server is the incoming station for electronic services such as telephone, cable TV, satellite, etc. The UStec server is also the managing system for all low or no-voltage wiring, and may even include such operations as lawn sprinklers, doorbells and other automatic control systems.

The GoElectronics Difference...
ImageBy centralizing these systems within a main server station (the "brain" of the structured wiring system), they can be connected - and
networked - to interact intelligently and provide not only control and convenience, but also energy saving capacity throughout the entire facility.

In new home construction, the concept of having one central point for all incoming services eliminates a hodge-podge of non-communicating, ugly junction boxes, each service in turn "doing their thing" irrespective of any other service connections. The central server, however, can also contain programs ("intelligence") and be connected to modems, video drivers, modulators or amplifiers, audio distribution, multi-media routers and data communications bridges and hubs for digital computer networking.

ImageInstallation Experts…
Installation of low-voltage
wiring is very different from regular electrical wiring. It must be carefully located around your high-voltage wiring to be certain that there is no interference such as electrical "noise," video shadowing or other problems, even signal failures, which can occur if low voltage wiring is misplaced. Here, working with the house drawings, GoElectronics' Imageengineers insure that complete and correct schematics are prepared for electrical work. Another area for extreme care is the length of the runs versus the size of the wire (copper gauge) to permit the stress of pulling through long distances across a structure. GoElectronics Advanced Wiring Systems are always specified to the correct tolerances for the best balance between price and performance.

Network needs

Hardwired network

This is the most important part of a future ready home. Network location may include personal desks; many homes have a desk in every bed room, allowing kids and guest to access e-mail, internet, and a centrally located printer.

ImageAlso the audio and video equipment in the family, game room, theater or equipment head end. Why do you need a network for audio and video equipment?  New hard drive based DVD and CD players and game consoles like x-box, nitindo wii and PS3, will need access to the internet to retrieve album art, DVD cover art and the information about the artist and actors, expanding your need for information and play games against thousands of other people and friends in online gaming host. Élan, Crestron, AMX, Apple, Windows media center and Windows Vista are very popular in media rooms and media distribution through out your home. Media may include DVD’s, CD, Personal Video’s and local weather from your favorite site.

Here’s a example, You have a Vista enabled PC in your theater to play your HD DVD’s and on this hard drive you have 400 DVD’s stored, 600 CD’s and 300 personal Pictures of the family, now you have a master plasma TV and an X-box, now the X-box is the media player in the master is giving you access to all this media! And you can have 5 X-boxes in the system. And just add wireless network and you can download a couple DVD’s and some family pictures to a portable for your trip then watch a movie on the plan and share you family pictures with the flight attendant. This is a connected home that goes with you.

Wireless network

ImageYou have hard-wired cat5 cabling to every location in your network, but in our new wireless world we need more. Sony, Samsung, Microsoft, and many more are now producing a wide variety of wireless devices that will come alive in a wireless network, and when you order your service like DSL or cable and the most popular Linksys routers and modems are useful but are limited to 50 or 60 feet away from the unit.  With a system by Go Electronics you have a hard wired and wireless network with range and dependability, this wireless access point is installed into your ceiling or wall Imagethat will leave no wires or unsightly boxes hanging around. Then when you turn on your wireless device like a PSP (play station portable), DS-lite (Nintendo’s portable player) or a Microsoft portable media player, laptopor Apple Ipod, you now have the full networked system and the flexibility and security to move freely in your home.
