ImageWhen these devices are part of an HAI integrated home system, all of the home's systems become more effective. Users can preset a series of events (a macro) in response to a single action. Arming the system on the way out could close all the windows, lock the doors, set back the thermostat and draw the shades. An "intruder" macro could turn on all the lights, page the homeowners, call the neighbors and play a realistic recording of a dog barking through you hole house audio system!

ImageInformation gathered by the security system can be used to improve the performance of other home systems as well. For example, a window left open in a bedroom could close the heat register in that room and motion sensors installed for the alarm system could automatically turn on lights and music in rooms as people enter.

NEW technology is here, we strive to stay abreast of up and coming technologies that enhance you security and comfort.
We will be adding to this page what we consider relevant, or as we see new technology products unveil.

Let GoElectronics show you how and get it done.

Image In a recent survey by the CEA 34% of respondents ranked security as their top reason for Imagepurchasing a home system. Adding features to an alarm system can provide an easy way to incrementally integrate home systems. With the security system acting as the brain of a home's systems, information on occupancy, motion and the condition of doors and windows can be used to improve the performance of many home systems.

Detection Sensors that detect intrusion, smoke, carbon monoxide, moisture, daylight, wind, power outages and even the "sound signature" of a tornado can be integrated into alarm and home systems to provide a complete picture of what is going on inside and outside a home.

Serve & Protect
Image Security systems can be given some "muscle" in the form of motorized windows and door locks. Gates, skylights, awnings, and drapes can also be automated, either as stand-alone units or as part of an alarm or home automation system. Many motorized windows and skylights come with small rain sensors and close automatically when the weather turns bad and drape controllers can be configured to open and close depending on the time of day or position of the sun.

Image Alarm
There are several alert or notification options available as well. The traditional siren is still part of most security systems, but surveillance cameras can give a home's occupants a view of what is going on from the relative safety of their bedrooms. Remote telephone and notification devices can be added to
Image most security systems to ensure that everyone who should know there is a problem can be found and notified. Auto-dialers, for example, dial phone numbers and play a prerecorded message alerting someone that there is trouble. Many systems can call several locations until the homeowner is found and enters a security code. More advanced systems offer the homeowner the ability to hear and even see what is happening inside the house in real time. When checking in from a computer, the view from strategically placed cameras can be seen via the Internet or a direct dial-up connection.
